According to the Police, the accident seems to have occurred around 20:30 in the evening on the Avgorou-Liopetriou road, where the unfortunate Matthew was driving his car in the direction of Liopetri, when under the circumstances under investigation he seems to have lost control, and to He went left in a field where he was immobilized, while he did not appear to be wearing a seat belt.

Matthew was searched by his relatives, who located his vehicle about 3 hours later, calling an ambulance with which the driver was taken to Larnaca General Hospital, where the doctors on duty determined his death. It seems that the very reduced traffic on the roads due to the prohibition of unnecessary movement was fatal for the 37-year-old after his driver's delay was delayed.
