Men from the Famagusta Traffic Police went to the scene and the driver of the car underwent a preliminary alcohol test with zero indication and a negative drug test.
Police investigations revealed that the occupants of the car were wearing seat belts, the 22-year-old was not wearing a protective helmet and was not licensed to ride a motorcycle.
The exact causes of death of the 22-year-old will be determined during the legal autopsy that will be performed at a later stage.
Andreou leaves behind a wife and a child.
