In the last 31 hours, the Police proceeded with 24 complaints of citizens and an establishment for violation of the measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus disease.
In his statements to KYPE, a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters stated that from 6 in the morning of Monday until 06:00 today, 3.169 checks were carried out.
Regarding the inspections by province, in Nicosia 254 inspections were carried out without complaints, in Limassol 545 inspections were carried out with 13 complaints of citizens, in Larnaca 405 inspections were carried out with 6 complaints of citizens, in Paphos 623 inspections were carried out with 7 complaints of citizens and an estate in Famagusta 528 inspections were carried out with 5 complaints of citizens and in the area of Morfos 302 inspections were carried out without complaints.
Of the 3.169 checks, 12 concerned the Port Police. The complaints of the Coast Guard did not result in any complaint.
