George Nicolettos expressed his gratitude to the President of the Republic and the Council of Ministers through a post for his appointment to the position of Vice President of the EAC after the resignation of Emili Giolitis and the replacement of the position of President by former Vice President, Michalis Komodromos.

"I warmly thank the President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Anastasiadis and the Council of Ministers for their trust. My appointment to the position of Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Electricity Authority is a great honor.
The EAC, the largest Organization of Cyprus, with a key role in the development of the economy and the progress of our society, is going through the period of the most important challenges in its history. Their highlight, in addition to the operational and accounting separation, is the implementation of the free energy market in 2020. A perspective that changes the data on the energy map.
Equipped with scientific training, professional experience and my fifteen-year tenure in local government, I will try to look worthy of expectations, contributing to the development of the EAC.
