The blackmailing measures of the occupation authorities in the schools of Rizokarpaso

a Occupations, Education, Pseudocracy

The Education Committee of the Parliament is holding an extraordinary session today, in camera, on the occasion of Attila's continuing blackmail measures in the schools of Rizokarpasos.

The settlers behave like conquerors. Following the intention of the occupying forces to impose charges on the humanitarian aid sent to the trapped, the occupying authorities have been imposing new extortionate measures for days.

They banned the transportation of books for the students of our schools in the occupied areas. Among the material they rejected is a book on religious freedom, which is of particular concern to us. Especially after the obstacles they put in the transition of teachers in Rizokarpaso.

The Minister of Education spoke to SIGMA about the actions he has taken (see in the video).

Last year, another six books were banned as part of the same tactics that, according to the spokesman, create problems for the smooth living of those trapped in the occupied areas.

The Government considers that this action is a continuation of the decision to impose a duty on the humanitarian aid of the Caged and that it is another written example of the hardening of the Turkish attitude.

Tomorrow morning, the Education Committee is meeting in a closed session with the exclusive topic of discussion, the problems at the Rizokarpasos school.
