An employee of the Famagusta cadastre in Larnaca was reported to the Audit Office.
Specifically, according to the relevant complaint and what SigmaLive reports, the employee in question allegedly moved dozens of box files outside the building between July 9 and July 13.
The questions that arise from the complaint, as reported by SigmaLive, are why these files were moved out of offices? Where did they go; But what about their content?
In a communication that the website had with the Audit Office, it was confirmed that the relevant complaint has been received.
However, as noted, given that procedures have already begun to investigate the whole issue within the Land Registry, the Service will not be involved.
The website notes that the employee in question who is allegedly involved in the case with the lost files is absent from the Department with a sick leave.
