Athens: It seems that the suggestions for the fate of the Religious Studies course in the Lyceum are coming under the microscope of the Church again.
As "Kathimerini" reports, the Institute of Educational Policy announced that in the XNUMXrd Lyceum, among the elective courses are the Issues of Ethics and Religions.
The final decision will be made by the political leadership of the ministry, as the announcement of the Institute is only a suggestion to the Ministry.
Ecclesiastical figures quoted by the newspaper reiterated the Church's position that the subject of Religious Studies and its obligation is a "red line".
However, the announcements of the Ministry show that there is not much left to remove the compulsory course.
