A 23-year-old British man, a permanent resident of Ayia Thekla, was arrested on Saturday afternoon in Ayia Napa for drug possession.
Specifically, at 16:30 on Saturday, members of the Anti-Drug Service stopped and investigated a 23-year-old British permanent resident in Agia Thekla.
During a physical examination, he was found in possession of green dry cannabis plant material weighing 2 grams.
He was arrested and then searched his home, where a metal container containing 2 grams of cannabis was found.
The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.
