Lately, EAC customers have been informed by the Organization that they receive visits from persons who present themselves as EAC employees for advice on energy saving issues.

According to an announcement, these persons claim that they can provide advice to EAC customers, after first supervising the electrical appliances of their premises.

The Cyprus Electricity Authority clarifies that it has nothing to do with these individuals and calls on its customers to be especially careful.

The EAC states that it visits the premises of its customers on the spot to provide advice on energy saving issues, only after consultation with stakeholders.
