The vacation turned out to be episodic for a 57-year-old woman from Great Britain who was vacationing in Ayia Napa, as a walk she made with friends on the main street of Ayia Napa turned into a nightmare for her and for two of her friends.
According to the data, around two in the morning today, while the 57-year-old was walking with her friends on a street in the province of Famagusta, together with four other friends, an unknown person, who was riding a low-capacity motorcycle, snatched the bag she had in her shoulder and tried to escape.
However, the 57-year-old resisted with the result that she was slightly injured in the hand, however the result for the robber was different after she lost control of the motorcycle and which collided with two friends of the 57-year-old, resulting in minor injuries.
The robber, however, did not give up and while lifting the motorcycle from the ground, it became smoke together with the bag of the 57-year-old, which contained the amount of approximately € 135 and a mobile phone.
The Ayia Napa Police Station is investigating the case.
