Following this development, the representative of the Prosecution Authority, Elli Papagapiou, reported to Grigoriou the accusation that between 23 and 24/6/16 in Ayia Napa and Limassol, while she knew that Alex Burelli was a wanted person, she provided him with assistance in order to escapes punishment.

Ms. Papagapiou also asked the House to suspend all other charges against Sofia Grigoriou.

The President of the Criminal Court, Stalo Hatzigianni, stated that the criminal prosecution against the accused for the other 13 charges she was facing is suspended and she is acquitted of the charges.

Ms. Papagapiou then read the facts of the case in which Sofia Grigoriou is involved and, among other things, stated that during the investigation of the case of the 4fold murder, it emerged that the accused was the person who received one of the perpetrators, Alex Bureli, from the scene. who burned the car outside Ayia Napa, in which the perpetrators were riding, and transported him to the Ayia Napa-Larnaca highway, providing assistance to him in order to escape punishment.

According to the facts of the case, Sofia Grigoriou on 23/6/16 was in a villa in Protaras with other persons, including one of the perpetrators (Alex Boureli) whom he fled. Shortly before ten o'clock that night, she was informed that they were leaving the mansion when she saw one of the perpetrators holding the Kalashnikov (used for the murder. Another person suggested that she move her car, which was blocking the exit of the robbery car (found burned outside Ayia Napa after the murder) which the perpetrators would have used for the murder.

Specifically, the person in question told her "it was over, shake your car so that the others leave because they will go to see him" and the accused moved her vehicle. According to instructions received, Sofia Grigoriou followed with her own car the vehicle driven by another person and parked in a field on Kataspilon Street despite the exit of the Agia Napa - Larnaca highway. After a few minutes, the accused realized that the car of the perpetrators was entering the field and two people were running out of it, who were the former accused Charalambos Andreou and Alex Boureli.

According to the facts of the case, Bureli knocked on her window and Grigoriou recognized him as the person holding the Kalashnikov when they left the villa in Protaras.

The accused opened the car door and the perpetrator entered, who was very confused and repeatedly said "My Lady, what did I do, My Lady, what did I do, go, go". Then in her car followed the vehicle that was driving the other person in the direction of Larnaca and at some point on the road stopped behind him.

There, Alex Burelli got out of her car and entered as a co-driver in the car driven by the former accused Charalambos Andreou, while the person who was giving her instructions entered her own vehicle as a co-driver, telling her "let's leave and the Police will catch us" . When Gregory was asked where they would go, the man replied that they would go to Limassol.

At some point in Limassol, the other person instructed the accused to stop in a field by the sea in the area of ancient Amathus, where after a while the car driven by Charalambos Andreou with co-driver Alex Boureli arrived. There they all got out of the cars, Grigoriou gave the clothes of the perpetrators who were in her car to Charalambos Andreou and then after boarding the cars they left.

The former accused Charalambos Andreou, following the instructions he received, transferred Alex Boureli to Nicosia and on 25/6/16 to Limassol, while to date he has not been located.

As Ms. Papagapiou stated yesterday shortly before 2:30 pm and after legal advice, Sofia Grigoriou handed over to the Police a handwritten statement in which she puts forward her allegations and admits her involvement in the case.

The President of the Criminal Court gave instructions to prepare a report of the Welfare Office on the same day and Grigoriou's defense lawyer asked for time in order to read both the said report and that of the psychiatrist.

He also noted that his client is at the disposal of the Prosecution Authority in order to testify as a prosecution witness, with Elli Papagapiou calling on the defense attorneys of the three defendants to consider that Sofia Grigoriou will be a prosecution witness.

Following this development, the President of the House appointed as the next trial for a speech to mitigate the sentence of Sofia Grigoriou tomorrow, March 31, at 12 noon.

The other three defendants, through their lawyers, asked them not to appear in tomorrow's trial.

It is noted that since the morning in the Court there was a strong police force from members of MMAD, ADE Larnaca and other services of the Force, while the process that was scheduled for 9 in the morning started with an hour delay.

Initially, the three defendants entered the room accompanied by armed police officers and then Sofia Grigoriou, who was wearing a bulletproof vest, entered.

Michalis Pikis, defense attorney of Marios Christodoulou, asked for time in order to study the allegations of Sofia Grigoriou and to prepare his defense line and so the next defendant was appointed on April 10, 2016 at 09:00 in the morning.
