The 39-year-old confessed murderer of Daphne was sentenced to pre-trial detention by a decision of an investigator and a prosecutor, after his apology.
In the morning, the 39-year-old, of Albanian origin, was brought before the 12th regular investigator in order to apologize for the murder of his 31-year-old wife.
Against him, the prosecutor has filed criminal charges for manslaughter with deceit in a calm state of mind and for illegal possession of weapons - use of weapons against his wife.
However, according to information, the accused during his apology to the investigator changed his line in relation to what he said in his pre-investigation testimony to the police. Today, he claimed that his wife was not sleeping when he attacked her with a knife. He also claimed that there was evidence that the victim had an extramarital affair.
It is noted that during the apprehension of the perpetrator in the investigator's office, he was lynched by about 10 relatives of the unfortunate woman, who threw bottles of water and glasses of coffee. Two of the relatives tried to hit him in the face with a punch, but were prevented from doing so by the police officers who accompanied him. At the same time, the relatives tried to enter the building where the investigator's office is located, but the police prevented them.
At noon, the police took the accused out of the detention centers of building 9 in the courts of the former Evelpidon school, in order to avoid the angry relatives of the unfortunate woman.
