The 31-year-old Russian woman had come to Greece with her English friend for a vacation. On Sunday (12/12) they rented a car and went for a walk in Meteora.
On the way back, shortly after 6:00 pm, on the road - Karmaniola that connects the old national road Lamia - Karditsa with the E65, the car driven by the 31-year-old collided sideways with a truck.
The car of the young couple, especially from the driver's side, was transformed into an amorphous mass.
The 31-year-old was admitted to Lamia hospital with multiple injuries and serious head injuries and was intubated directly, but ended up in the early hours of Wednesday.
Her 29-year-old boyfriend is being treated at Lamia hospital with injuries, out of danger.
