The last act of the drama, for the 16-year-old boxer Vassilis Topalos who died after a fainting episode in the gymnasium toilets in Tavros, while he allegedly participated in sparring matches with strong opponents before, is "written" today, with his funeral which is in progress.
With deep sadness and pain, relatives and friends say goodbye to the award-winning boxer, unable to believe that he "lost" so unjustly.
The funeral of Vassilis Topalos is held at the Holy Trinity Church in Aspropyrgos, while afterwards the family, friends and the world of Greek Sports will say their "last cheers" to the 16-year-old European champion at the Municipal Cemetery of Schistos.
Inconsolable, his parents cannot believe that their child died so unfairly while he still had a lot to give in the field of boxing. Relatives and friends of the 16-year-old are still in a state of shock from the sudden death of their beloved Vassilis.
