Significant is the development of the case of little Madeline, whose traces were lost while she was on vacation with her family in Portugal, 14 years ago, at the age of just three.
The German prosecutors handling the case state their certainty that the child was murdered by the suspect Christian Bruckner. According to prosecutor Christian Voltaire, the investigators have enough information to prosecute the main suspect, however, they want to "further strengthen their position".
Speaking to the Mirror, Voltaire - according to whom Madeleine is dead - said the group was "100% convinced" that Madeleine had been murdered by Bruckner, a convicted pedophile.
