The widespread victory of young politician Volodymyr Zelensky in the second round of Ukraine's presidential election shows that Ukrainians voted for the change, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin said in a first reaction to Moscow's election results.

"Exit polls suggest Ukrainians are voting for change," Ria Novosti told Russian news agency RIA Novosti, adding that "the new government must live up to the expectations of the electorate."
