Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has complained to the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres about the situation in Israel.
According to foreign media, Antonio Guterres and Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation, with the Turkish politician stressing to the Secretary General that the US is acting against UN decisions and endangering international peace. Adding that Israel said there should be a tough reaction against him.
During their telephone conversation, they discussed the issue of Israel and Syria.
The Turkish President described as a positive development the decision to set up an independent commission of inquiry into the events in Gaza.
