The American Secretary of State Anthony Blinken will travel to Israel and Jordan on Friday, while the representative of the State Department denied the reports about Mr. Blinken's trip to Turkey as well.

"We saw journalists writing on Platform X that we might go to Turkey. We have not confirmed a visit to Turkey. I am unable to confirm the trip. We will make further statements in the coming days," said Matthew Miller during the briefing to reporters.

Mr. Blinken will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli government officials to be briefed on their military goals and plans. He will reiterate US support for Israel's right to defend itself under international law and discuss the need to take all precautions to minimize civilian casualties, as well as efforts to provide humanitarian aid.

In his meetings in Jordan, the US Secretary will emphasize the importance of protecting civilian life and the shared commitment to facilitate increased sustained delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza and ensure that Palestinians are not displaced from Gaza.

It will also reaffirm the US commitment to work with its partners to set the stage for a lasting and sustainable peace in the Middle East, including the creation of a Palestinian state that reflects the aspirations of the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank.

Finally, he will continue to discuss the ongoing efforts to free all the hostages.
