Any US missiles fired at Syria will be shot down, Russian Ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Zasipkin said, adding that their targets would also be targeted.
Zasipkin clarified in comments made and broadcast last night on television networks that he referred to a statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin and the head of the Russian General Staff.
"If there is a blow from the Americans then (…) the rockets will be shot down and even the places where the rockets came from will be fired upon," he told Hezbollah al-Manar TV.
