A horrific crime took place in Dallas, Texas in the USA as 18-year-old Darriyn Brown broke into a house, took 4-year-old Cash Gernon whom he stabbed to death leaving him on a street and returned to grab his twin brother.
The young perpetrator, according to the video from the Daily Mail, broke into a house in Dallas, trying to keep quiet, and entered the room of Cash and Carter, the children of the family. As seen in the video, Darriyn stands for a while above their crib.
Then he approaches the minors who have lay down to sleep and are covered. And after he stands short, teasing the blanket, he grabs Cash and leaves the room, leaving his brother to sleep in his bed.
And as can be seen from the relevant camera footage, when he started chasing, he returned to the same house and approached Cash's twin brother, Carter. According to the Daily Mail, it was an attempt to get Carter, too, at a time when his brother was already dead but something must have scared him and he left.
The 4-year-old died from multiple injuries
According to the Dallas medical examiner, 4-year-old Cash died from multiple injuries, with the authorities having announced earlier that the wounds were caused by a sharp object. Monica Sherrod, 39, who was caring for the children after their father and ex-partner, disappeared in March.
Monica Sherrod recognized Darriyn Brown after seeing the visuals from the boys' room at the back of the house and away from the rest of the sleeping family. According to the information, he entered through the unlocked garage door.
According to what the 39-year-old told the police, the perpetrator was known to the family being the brother of her eldest son's friend but he ignores the reason why he did such a thing to the minors. "He came back around 07.00 in the morning (local time), it's as if someone scared him," commented Monica Sherrod.
"It simply came to our notice then that he might be back for Carter. He picked up Cash and started running while he slept. I saw it again and again and now I can no longer. We were asleep when it happened. Usually Cash wakes me up and now he did not. "When I woke up I saw that he was missing and I called 911. I wondered if he had gone out, I did not know that someone had taken him", he added.

Note that 39-year-old Antwainese Square found the dead 4-year-old Cash. "I thought he was a dog in the beginning, we have a lot of strays. I took my mom and told her that it is strange because she does not move. And then I started screaming. I closed it for her and got the 911. I was told to approach him if he is alive. "I saw ants on his feet and blood on his face," he described.
"He had no shoes, no socks, no T-shirt. He was only in his shorts. He was with his back to the road. I realized that he is a human and not a dog by his leg and arm. And when I realized he was a child, I lost them. "I wondered if he had been attacked by a dog."
Additional charges are pending against Brown
According to Kamron Moori, Monica Sherrod's son, he confirmed that their father had abandoned them and that he was going out with her, with their mother, Melinda Seagroves, looking for them. In fact, Melinda and Carter reunited after Cash's death.
Authorities said further charges were pending against Brown, who was staying with his parents half a mile from the twins' home as soon as the forensic evidence was examined, and police said the biological mother of two did not know she was in Monica care with her looking for a long time now.
