The Police in Larnaca are investigating a complaint about an attempted abduction of a minor.
Specifically, the complaint states that an unknown young man, riding a motorcycle, approached the eight-year-old while she was outside the tutoring center and told her in Greek that her mother had asked him to take her home.
The little girl refused, while after the relevant complaint, the Police received a statement from the father and from the teacher of the tutoring school and closed circuits from the area are being examined, without having detected anything at the scene.
It is noted that instructions were given for increased patrols in places where children are, while neighborhood watchers and parents were notified.
