A 28-year-old man was detained for the offenses of drunkenness, anxiety and causing malicious harm.
According to Paphos Assistant Police Director Michalis Ioannou, yesterday It was reported by a Hotel Manager in the coastal area of Kato Paphos that on the same day, between the hours of 13:30 and 14:00, a tourist while in a state of intoxication was causing concern in the hotel, causing disturbance to the other locals of the hotel.
Also he is said to carried out various damages inside his room and in other areas with a total value of 500 euros. Members of the Paphos police station went to the scene and as they found out it was a 28-year-old tourist. An arrest warrant was issued against him for the offenses of drunkenness, anxiety and malicious harm. He was subsequently arrested and remanded in custody. The case is expected to be registered in the Paphos District Court.
