SafePass recovery message (SMS) is received by all who have been confirmed outbreaks in the last six monthsdeclared in the Unit of Epidemiological Surveillance and Control of Infectious Diseases (MEE & ELN) and released by their Personal Doctor or in his absence by the Release Team of the Ministry of Health.

The person who has been diagnosed with a coronavirus case must have reported to the MEE & ELN of the Ministry of Health within a reasonable period of time from the day the result was issued.

Cases reported to MEE & ELN are tracked and released on the protocol basis either following actions of the Personal Physician or by the Release Team of MEE & ELN (if there is no Personal Physician).

People who are registered in the file of MEE & ELN and have fallen ill from the disease COVID-19 upon their release they will receive a recovery SMS stating the period of validity of the receipt.

2.    Who sends the recovery SMS for SafePass?

The recovery SMS is sent automatically from the platform of the Ministry of Health, if the Personal Physician or in his absence the Release Team completes the procedure and registers the release date on the platform.

3.    I am a positive case and I have not yet been released by my Personal Doctor or the Release Team of the Ministry of Health. Am I entitled to SafePass?

The Personal Physician is responsible for the release of the positive case. Positive cases after the end of their illness receive a release SMS based on the relevant protocol. The recovery SMS is sent automatically from the platform, once the release process has been done correctly.

If the Personal Physician cannot locate you on the platform or does not know how to formalize your release procedure, you should contact the Release Team of the Department of Health or refer to the instructions sent to you. If the release process is not completed properly, you will automatically receive a message from the platform 20 days after the sampling day of the test that determined you as a case.
