In the last 7 hours, the Police proceeded with complaints from 7 citizens and 24 premises, after 2.695 inspections carried out throughout Cyprus, in order to ascertain the observance and implementation of the decrees of the Law on Infection.

As a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters stated to KYPE, in Nicosia 1.445 inspections were carried out, which resulted in 1 complaint of a citizen and 2 premises, while in Limassol 212 inspections were carried out, from which 2 complaints of citizens and 3 premises emerged. In Larnaca 439 inspections were carried out with 1 citizen complaint, in Paphos 93 inspections were carried out, which resulted in 2 complaints of premises, in Famagusta 286 inspections were carried out and there were 3 complaints from citizens, while in the area of ​​Morphou 67 inspections were carried out without complaint.

Also, all over Cyprus, the Traffic Police carried out 153 inspections, without any complaint.

Finally, the Port Police carried out 5 checks without a complaint.

Among the extrajudicial fines, the fine of 4.000 euros that was imposed on a bakery in Nicosia stands out because it did not control safe pass to the customers who entered the premises.

Also, in Limassol, an extrajudicial fine of 1.500 euros was issued to a brewery owner because he allowed customers to enter without holding a safepass.
