The roads Karvouna-Troodos, Platron-Troodos, and Prodromou-Troodos remain open only for vehicles with four-wheel drive or equipped with anti-skid chains, due to the slippery road.
The highways and the road network of the urban areas are not particularly problematic, however due to the rain that occurred in places during the night, the road surface in various places may be slippery.
The Police recommends special attention to those who travel on the road network and drivers are called to move at a safe, low speed and to maintain a safe distance from oncoming vehicles.
It is pointed out that the situation on the road network is changing due to the prevailing winter conditions.
