The Fire Brigade and the Police mobilized after a fire in a vehicle in Lakatamia.
According to the information of the Fire Brigade, around 03.44 in the morning, a call was received for a fire in a vehicle, which was parked in a parking lot of a house, in Lakatamia.
Members of the Police and the Fire Service from the Lakatamia Fire Station responded with two fire trucks and the fire was brought under control on 04.17.
The vehicle was extensively damaged by the fire. The heat also affected a vehicle parked near the vehicle involved in the fire.
A third vehicle was also slightly damaged, as well as air conditioning equipment and part of the house coating.
According to information, the vehicle belongs to the wife of the head of the Road Transport Department.
