Ο Two people were injured in a car accident on Wednesday, involving three vehicles in Paphos.

According to the Assistant Police Director of Paphos, Michalis Ioannou, yesterday afternoon, a 67-year-old man was driving his car on the Limassol-Paphos highway, in the direction of Limassol.

At the same time, a 74-year-old driver of another car, which was driving behind the first car, under conditions under investigation, collided with the vehicle in front, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle and to be immobilized inside the highway.

Then, after the drivers of the vehicles had already gotten out of their vehicles and were off the highway, under conditions under investigation, a truck, driven by a 50-year-old, collided with the first vehicle, which was parked on the highway.

The drivers of the first two vehicles involved in the first collision were then taken to the Paphos General Hospital, where the 67-year-old received first aid and was fired, while the 74-year-old was found to have had abrasions on his head and was kept under surveillance.

A breathalyzer test was performed on all three drivers with zero indication. The scene was sketched by members of the Paphos Traffic Police and the accident is being investigated by the Paphos Traffic Police.
