The 3rd Session of the Cyprus-Serbia Cooperation Council is being held today in Belgrade, under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Cyprus and the President of the Republic of Serbia
The 3rd consecutive meeting of the Cyprus-Serbia Cooperation Council is being held today in Belgrade, led by the Presidents and with the participation of Ministers of the two Governments, in the context of the first official visit of the President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Christodoulidis to Serbia.
The Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Konstantinos Kombos, the Minister of Defense Mr. Michalis Giorgallas, the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth Ms. Athina Michailidou, the Government Spokesperson Mr. Konstantinos Letympiotis, the Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Office of the President will participate in the Summit. Mr. Doros Venezis and officials.
Prior to the start of the work of the Synod, the Cypriot Ministers will hold bilateral meetings with their Serbian counterparts at the Palace of Serbia.
After the completion of the bilateral meetings of the Ministers, the Cooperation Summit will be held under the President of the Republic of Cyprus and the President of the Republic of Serbia.
As part of the Summit, Memoranda of Understanding will be signed between the two countries in the field of Education, Science, Innovation and Advanced Technologies. but also of the Cooperation between the Diplomatic Academies of the two countries.
The Synod will be followed by a working lunch hosted by the Prime Minister of Serbia, Mrs. Ana Brnabić, in honor of the President of the Republic of Cyprus and the delegation accompanying him.
Earlier today, the President of the Republic will have a meeting with the Serbian Patriarch Porfirio, at the Patriarchate.
Besides, early in the morning President Christodoulidis will visit a company of Cypriot interests which operates in Belgrade, accompanied by the Minister of Trade of Serbia.
