Ingredients
- 700 gr. chicken legs
- 1 tbsp. onion powder
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme and rosemary
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- For the sauce: 1 tbsp butter, 250 gr. sliced mushrooms, 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped, 1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley, 1/2 - 1 tbsp. dried thyme and dried rosemary (depending on your taste)
Implementation
step 1
Wipe the chicken legs with a paper towel and remove the excess fat. Mix the onion powder, garlic powder, herbs, salt and pepper and spread the chicken evenly.
step 2
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sauté the chicken legs in batches until golden brown on each side, about 8 minutes on each side, depending on thickness. Add the remaining oil if needed for the second batch. Transfer to a plate and set aside, keeping warm.
step 3
Melt the butter in the same pan and add the mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper and sauté until soft (about 3 minutes). Add the garlic, parsley, thyme and rosemary and sauté for about 1 minute.
step 4
Return the chicken to the pan, taste and season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
