Horror, questions, discussions and various theories have sparked a video posted on the TikTok platform, which depicts a spooky sea creature caught by an amateur fisherman with his cane.
This is a strange figure with a huge head, monstrous mouth, three tentacles and holes like nostrils instead of eyes, which looks like a deformed octopus.
Millions of users have watched the video, which was released on January 25, with everyone giving their own version of what the mysterious creature could be. Speculation ranges from a mutated octopus to a Raja eglanteria skate.
Some conspiracy theorists have gone so far as to claim that this is an alien or squirrel crossing with a cat and a fish.
The young woman who posted the video, Natalia Vorobok, claims that the creature was caught in Connie Island, New York.
