According to the Police, yesterday at noon on the Larnaca - Pylas road near the beach of KOT, members of the Force stopped a car driven by a 42-year-old man from Avgorou and had two minor children with him.
A search of the car turned up a box containing 40 crackers and a flare.
The 42-year-old was taken to the Oroklini Police Station where he made a voluntary statement and pleaded guilty stating that he bought the crackers and the flare from a kiosk in Pyla for his own use.
The man was charged in writing and released while the items were confiscated.
