A car accident with an injured 68-year-old is being investigated by the Famagusta Traffic Police in Ayia Napa.

Specifically, according to an announcement by the Police at 10:30 on the night of Easter Monday 25/4/22, a 31-year-old man from Frenaros while driving his vehicle along Nisi Avenue in Ayia Napa in the direction of the center of the Municipality at some point road, under conditions which are being investigated, hit and seduced a pedestrian visitor from Greece who at that time was crossing the road from right to left according to the course of the 31-year-old vehicle.

The 68-year-old was thrown into the distance from the collision, while the vehicle suffered material damage to the windshield and its front part.

The 68-year-old was transported by ambulance to the General Hospital of Famagusta in Paralimni where she has been diagnosed with various fractures and was admitted to the Orthopedic Department.

Her health condition is considered out of danger.

At the age of 31, a breathalyzer test was performed with zero indication.

The Famagusta Traffic Police is investigating.
