An admittedly shocking video has been making the rounds of the internet in recent days.
The video recorded a car camera and an adjacent store and it shows a small motorcycle with two passengers, who apparently are foreign tourists, moving on the "Island" avenue in Ayia Napa.
At some point on the road, the motorcycle appears to be deliberately deviating from its course to enter a bike path.
In the driver's attempt to enter the bike lane, the motorcycle is literally nailed to a pole, causing both the motorbike and the occupants to be thrown into the air.
Fortunately, the two occupants of the accident were slightly injured.
