The funeral of the unfortunate Panagiota Pentavka, who lost her life on Friday morning in a fatal car accident on the Sotiras-Deryneia road, is taking place today at 4:30 pm at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior in Sotira.
According to the Police, at 5:30 on Friday morning, the car of 77-year-old Pamnagiota Pentavka, which was moving in the direction of Deryneia, collided head-on with a car driven by a 71-year-old woman from Deryneia.
Members of the Fire Department rushed to the scene and released the two female drivers. Both were then transported by ambulance to Famagusta General Hospital. One driver died while the other is seriously injured in serious condition.
According to the Police, neither of the two drivers was wearing a seat belt. According to information, the unfortunate Pentavka would go to the General Hospital of Famagusta early in the morning as she suffered from health problems.
