19 migrants, including children, were tragically killed in a car accident when the truck they were riding in overturned in Izmir.
According to the Anadolu agency, the truck left the road under hitherto unclear conditions while heading from Aidini to Izmir.
According to Turkish media, the accident happened in the Menderes area with the truck leaving the road and falling into an irrigation canal.
According to the same information, there are 26 injured, without specifying how many of them are in a mild, serious or critical condition.
So far, the nationality of the immigrants has not been made known.
