The second suspect in a car theft case, committed last November, in Limassol, was arrested yesterday by members of the Police. The second suspect, a 36-year-old man, was arrested on a warrant and remanded in custody for police investigation.

For the theft of the car, a 40-year-old man was arrested in December, who was found by members of the Police, driving the stolen vehicle, on a street in Limassol.

Specifically, on December 03, around 10.00 pm, members of the Limassol Traffic Police located the car, which on November 08, had been reported as stolen, moving on a road in the area of ​​Ypsonas. The police stopped the vehicle for inspection, to find out that its driver was the 40-year-old, who was arrested for a self-inflicted crime (Police Bulletin No. 2, dated 04/12/2021, relevant).

According to the complaint made to the Police, the car was stolen on November 02, from a place maintained by its owner, in Limassol. The Agios Ioannis Police Station continues the examinations.
