Last night, members of the Police arrested a 30-year-old man, related to an investigated case of museum burglary and theft, committed last September, in Paphos. The case is being investigated by the Paphos TAE.

According to the data under investigation, on the night between September 27 and 28, 2023, a burglary was committed in a private folklore museum, in the province of Paphos, from where exhibits such as old coins, watches, and jewelry were stolen. Members of the Police, specifically of the Paphos Police Department, conducted examinations at the scene, from where they received various evidence.

As part of the investigation of the case by the TAE, evidence against the 30-year-old suspect recently emerged. An arrest warrant was issued against him. He was located and arrested around 8.00 on Monday night by members of the Police in the Paphos district and was taken into custody for the purposes of police examinations.
