The members of the Police are on their feet in view of the holidays. As of yesterday, the traffic controls throughout Cyprus have been intensified.
Speaking on the show Mesimeri kai Kati, the member of the Press Office of the Police Headquarters, Marina Christodoulou, stated that "the presence of the Police is increased on highways and main arteries, while the number of pedestrian patrols by members of the Force has also increased."
He noted that "the goal is not to mourn the victims on the asphalt during these holidays".
