A vehicle that was on a plot of land next to the area of the church of Panagia Pantanassa in Paphos was engulfed in flames on Thursday night.
According to a representative of the Paphos police department at 20:50 last night, a fire broke out in a car in the Paphos area on Giarou Street in an open area. The Paphos Fire Department was immediately called to the scene, members of which extinguished the fire.
The tent was put under guard. The vehicle suffered extensive damage from the fire. Further examinations revealed that the owner of the vehicle resides in Cyprus.
The conditions of the cause of the fire in the vehicle are being investigated, while with the first light of day the examinations will resume.
