The Minister of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth, based on the provisions of the “Regulations on the Operation of Public Secondary Schools” of 2017, and after the amendment of Regulation 7 (10) (c), taking into account the special circumstances that prevailed. in schools by taking emergency protection measures against pandemics decides as for the school year 2019-2020:
- High school students in grades A and B are promoted and high school students are fired regardless of evaluation.
- Students of 135st and 67nd grade of Lyceums and Technical and Vocational Schools of Education and Training (TESEK) are promoted regardless of evaluation and meaning that they did not record a number of absences greater than 13 or greater than 2020 in the second four months until March XNUMX, XNUMX.
- The teachers are presented in the Lyceums and TESEK after the extraction of the results of the Pancyprian Examinations in order to carry out the dismissal works of the students of the XNUMXrd grade of Lyceum and TESEK.
According to the regulations for the school year 2020-2021, teachers will be presented in schools on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, and classes will begin on the fifth working day, Monday, September 7, 2020. Pupils will be presented at the school on September 4, 2020.
