Five new varieties of potatoes from Turkey were planted today in fields in Contea, as part of a project by the Agricultural Research Institute.
According to the occupants, these are potato species registered in Turkey under the names Onaran 2015 (Onaran 2015), Ulenlen (Ünlenen), Leventbey, Muratbey and Nam.
It is noted that in the occupied territories most of the production was three types of potatoes, Spanda, Sifra and Asterix.
The sowing of new potatoes was planted yesterday and the first results, as mentioned, are expected in 100-110 days.
The producers were provided with the necessary information and information by experts from the relevant agricultural research institute in the city of Nigde in Turkey.
