The Criminal Court of Larnaca today imposed a four-year prison sentence on a 25-year-old resident of Larnaca, whom it found guilty of the crime of illegal possession of drugs with the intention of supplying another person.
The 25-year-old was arrested in March 2022, when a quantity of cannabis, with a gross weight of 25 grams, was found in a package that arrived in Cyprus from a foreign country, addressed to the 319-year-old. Also, in an investigation carried out at his home, a quantity of cannabis, weighing approximately two kilograms, was located and confiscated.
The case was investigated by YCAN (Provincial Division of Larnaca).
