A 39-year-old man arrived in Larnaca last night, on a flight from a third country.
From a subsequent check, it was found that the 39-year-old was wanted on the basis of a European arrest warrant by German authorities, for the offenses of participation in a criminal organization, internet crime and fraud, which were committed between 2019-2020 in Germany and Israel.
The 39-year-old was arrested on a temporary arrest warrant and taken into custody.
Today he is expected to be brought before the District Court of Larnaca, for the start of his extradition process, German authorities.
