The Ministry of the Interior reminds that in the upcoming elections for the nomination of Members of the European Parliament and Local Authorities, all citizens of the Republic aged 18 and over who have their habitual residence in Cyprus, as well as citizens of other member states of the European Union, have the right to vote who reside in Cyprus and are registered in the relevant electoral rolls.
The last day to submit applications is Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Therefore, those who have not yet registered are invited to submit a timely application for registration in the electoral rolls, so that they can exercise their right to vote. After the above date no new registration and/or change can be made in the electoral rolls.
Young people who will turn 18 by June 9, 2024, the date of the elections, i.e. those born before June 9, 2006, also have the right to be registered in the electoral rolls. In this case, the application should also be submitted before and necessarily no later than April 2, 2024.
For citizens up to the age of 25, applications can be submitted online via the elections website at elections.gov.cy.
Applications in paper form are submitted to the local Offices of the District Administrations, Citizen Service Centers (KEP) and Citizen Centers (KE.PO. - Cyprus Post Offices). Application forms can be obtained from the above points, as well as from the Home Office Elections Service and the elections website.
