The President for Intergovernmental Cyprus - Serbia is in Belgrade

Today, the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulidis, accompanied by Ministers, is going to Belgrade for an official visit as well as for the 3rd Cyprus-Serbia Intergovernmental Summit.

As the Government Spokesman Constantinos Letymiotis stated yesterday, today Wednesday the President of the Republic will have a private meeting with the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, which will be followed by an extended meeting of the delegations. A joint press conference will then be held.

Afterwards, President Christodoulidis will go to the National Assembly of Serbia where he will meet with its President. In the evening, the President of Serbia will host a dinner in honor of the President of the Republic and the Cypriot delegation.

The Intergovernmental Summit will take place on Thursday. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth and the Minister of Defense will participate on behalf of the Republic of Cyprus.

The Ministers will also hold bilateral meetings with their counterparts at the Palace of Serbia while the President of the Republic will have a meeting with the Serbian Patriarch Porfirio.

After the completion of the bilateral meetings of the Ministers, the Intergovernmental Summit will be held under the President of the Republic of Cyprus and the President of the Republic of Serbia.

It will be followed by a working lunch hosted by the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, in honor of the President of the Republic and the delegation.

After Belgrade, the President goes to Rome.
