Shocked British viewers watched yesterday the first episode of the classic movie "Count Dracula" on the BBC network.

According to the British newspaper "Daily Mail", the terrifying spectacle that the television audience saw was beyond its power. Even the most fanatical of the thrillers bent.

But there were some who were surprised by the accent of the protagonist of the film.

The first episode of the film aired last night on BBC One. It was so scary that some people thought they would not be able to sleep.

The beheaded nun and the bloodthirsty babies are some of the scenes that are hard to forget, as the "Daily Mail" newspaper characteristically reports.

In the first episode, the actor who plays the young lawyer, Jonathan Harker, John Hefferman, falls into the hands of Count Dracula, played by Clay Bang. Harker, a lawyer from London, is taking on a buying and selling case.

The house was purchased on behalf of Count Dracula by his man in London, Mr Hawkins. Jonathan is engaged to Mina and is getting ready to get married, but he undertakes to take the documents to the Count himself, in Transylvania.

Harker was tortured during his stay at Dracula's castle in the Carpathian Mountains. In one scene he is chased by zombies, while one of Dracula's brides drank his blood. In another scene, viewers see on the screen a beheaded nun and in another bloodthirsty babies. At one point the vampire, who had been transformed into a wolf, takes human form to attack Harker. The vampire then confronts the nun Agatha and the other nuns who injure him, only to die violently when Harker invites him to the sanctuary.

The episode ends when Harker confronts the vampire dracula to save his beloved Mina.

Twitter was flooded with messages from viewers who rushed to share their fears:

"How can I sleep tonight? @BBCOne? », Writes a user.

"# Dracula was scary but amazing. "I will definitely keep a light on," says another.
Another viewer claims that watching the first episode he was quite scared…
