The events start at 5 pm in the Metropolis Square in Paralimni, where at 7 the New Queen of this year's Carnival will be crowned as Aphrodite of Cape Greco. This year's Queen is embodied by Miss Cyprus 2017, Maria Armenaki from Ayia Napa, since the chariot of the Carnival King belongs to the Municipality of Ayia Napa this year.
Then, a party will be set up in Paralimni square until morning on the occasion of Swan Thursday, with traditional dances by the Ayia Napa Dance Club and the hilarious satire "Consulate in the Blind" by the Cultural Workshop of the Municipality of Paralimni .
