Larnaca: They stole 60 wedding dresses worth € 90.000

Sixty wedding dresses of various houses and other types of wedding such as crowns, wreaths and shoes, the value of which exceeds 90 thousand euros, were stolen by strangers from a store located in the center of Larnaca.

According to the Police, it was reported today to TAE Larnaca by a 47-year-old owner of a bridal shop, located in the center of Larnaca, that between the hours of 20.00 yesterday and 08.30 today, strangers broke into her premises and stole 60 wedding dresses of different houses, 100 crowns. 15 bustiers, five wreaths and five pairs of shoes.

According to the complainant, the value of the stolen goods exceeds 90 thousand euros.

TAE men went to the scene and after investigations it was found that the perpetrators managed to enter / exit the store from the main glass entrance, after removing the lower security lock with a sharp instrument.

The scene was fingerprinted and the Police received evidence, which will be sent for scientific examinations. Police are expected to examine security cameras in nearby or adjacent shops and premises in an effort to locate the perpetrators.

The store does not have an alarm system installed, nor does it have security cameras, however it does have insurance coverage.
