On November 13, 2015, France received a series of terrorist attacks by jihadists, members of the Islamic State, in the center of Paris with a tragic record of 130 candles and dozens of wounded. 

The streets of Paris were stained with blood in just 23 minutes, following seven coordinated five-minute terrorist attacks.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a Stade de France stadium, during a friendly between France and Germany. the Republic.

The most serious attack with the most victims took place at the Bataclan Theater during the concert of the band Eagles of Death Metal. The spectators were held hostage by the invaders, who turned the area into a battlefield, with the final death toll reaching 90 people.

The timeline of the attacks

At 21:20, the first explosion took place outside the Stade de France, with a suicide bomber blowing up 80.000 people, including French President François Hollande.

At 21:25 p.m., the first shots were fired in the 10th arrondissement east of Paris on the balcony of a pizzeria with five dead.

At 21:30 there is a second terrorist act outside the stadium.

At 21:38 there is a new attack in the 11th district on restaurants with a total of 19 dead, according to the ministry.

At 21:43 again in the 11th, but this time in front of the number 253 near the square of the Nation, there is a new explosion.

At 21:50 p.m., Bataclan was attacked with 90 dead, when spectators at the concert heard four men in black shouting "Allah Akbar" and then attacking the crowd with grenades and gunfire.

At 21:53 there is a third kamikaze action at the Stadium.

Following the attacks, then-French President Francois Hollande said the Islamic State was behind them with internal aid. However, most of the perpetrators were killed when they fired explosive vests or were shot dead by police.

On November 14, the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attacks and praised the "heroic act" of the perpetrators, as it described it. In fact, they announced that these attacks were just the beginning.

French President Emmanuel Macron organized a series of events from the Stade de France in memory of the victims of the attacks in Paris on November 13, 2015, accompanied by Brigitte's wife and the presence of François Hollande's predecessor.

At this stage the first explosion took place that year, for this reason the French president laid a wreath on the plaque in memory of the victims, while a minute's silence was observed. Present were Interior Minister Gerard Colomb and Justice Minister Nicole Belloube, as well as Senate Presidents Zarar Larcé and National Assembly François de Rizzi and Paris Mayor Anne Indalgo.

The events that started at the Stadium will end in front of the Bataklan concert hall, where 90 people lost their lives.
