The cynical and cold Danish inventor Peter Madsen described its dismemberment, Kim Val, with "everything around him" in his trial for the murder of a Swedish journalist on his submarine.
Madsen is accused of torturing and killing 30-year-old Val before burying her dismembered body in the sea last August.

The Danish inventor, who denies killing Val, claims that her death was caused by an accident while submarine while he was on deck. According to the authorities, she threw her body on an islet in Copenhagen, a few hours after she had boarded the submarine to interview him.

During a hearing in Copenhagen court, Madsen described its dismemberment as a "paranoid situation", using everything in front of him. As he testified, the incident took place in the bathroom of his submarine. "It was scary and I would not go into more detail. "All I can say is that it was scary."

Asked about the knife marks on Val's body, he claimed that they were caused by chance and that there was no sexual motivation, according to the state network DR Nyheder. He did not deny that he was responsible for the knives on the journalist's body, but stressed that they were made after he had died and after placing her head in a plastic bag, so that her body would not be filled with gas. He added that he had no sexual motives.

During the trial, videos were revealed of women who were severely tortured, Internet searches for the dismemberment of corpses, intense interest in vampires, which were found on his computer.

Madsen, who appears to have filmed the violent affair with a GoPro camera, refused to watch the videos while they were being shown.

His lawyers claimed that members of his studio staff also had access to the hard drive. A photographer who has a passion for violent sex scenes, according to the accused, had borrowed his computer.

In addition, researchers identified videos of beheadings. Madsen confessed that he saw them. "I was looking for this kind of thing for emotional reasons and not for erotic reasons," he said.

The prosecutor asked him about an SMS with threatening content that he sent to a woman on August 4th. Peter Madsen's answer was that it was a game between them.

However, the prosecutor insisted and reminded the accused that a few hours before the meeting with the victim, Kim Val, he had searched the Internet with keywords such as "woman" and "beheading". "A coincidence," Madsen replied.

As of today, the testimony of 37 experts and witnesses is expected, most of whom were summoned by the prosecution.

The psychiatric report, filed before the court by the prosecution, describes a man "multifacetedly perverted and a person with deviant sexual behavior" with "psychopathic tendencies".

Witnesses, including the defendant's former companions, are expected to support the position, citing sexual perversions and sadomasochistic games during which Madsen engaged in simulated strangulation.

Peter Madsen is expected to testify again on March 28. The verdict is expected on April 25, with the prosecutor's office requesting that he be sentenced to life imprisonment.
